Itinerary:
The family of Ray Norman (aka Grandpa Ray-Ray) invites you to a memorial to celebrate Ray's life on Saturday March 19, 2011. The memorial will be held in the Victoria Room of the Chateau Lake Louise. This venue was chosen because of the spectacular views of the mountains Ray loved so much. From this location, you can cast your eyes upon at least six of the mountains Ray had summited and two tea houses Ray had visited. Lets hope for weather that Ray loved so much: Pea-soup-thick fog with a light clammy rain. Doors will open at 1 pm and the program will begin at 1:30. Children of all ages are welcome to attend and professional baby sitting in an adjoining room will be available All are welcome: please pass this invitation to those who have known Ray.
How to Get There:
Carpool Departure Time:   11:00 AM
Carpool Location:

Notes:
This event is posted so that everyone is able to plan to attend the celebration for our frind Ray. Please indicate if you are able to offer a ride, or need a ride. Sharing costs is always welcome. I am not co-ordinating the carpool. You folks are clever enough to contact each other.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
