Itinerary:
Depending on conditions we'll sort out exactly where that morning at the carpool. If we have fair skies and relatively stable conditions, ideally a peak (I'm contemplating observation peak... perhaps crowfoot mtn, but turns on the way down are a priority - of which there are limited off crowfoot), however flexibility on destination will be key. We should all be quite comfortable with our skiing skills - i.e., no switchback turns(!). Relatively stronger skiers will be given preference as this could be a longer day. Participants must have previous avalanche training (IRAC or AST1) and/*or* experience and comfortable with companion rescue.
Required Items to Bring:
Backcountry skis, skins, boots, poles, avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel, warm clothing, food, water, sunglasses, ice axe, and a headlamp just in case...

Recommended Items to Bring:
Some may want crampons fitted to their boots. Whatever else you want!

Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons.
