Itinerary: |
This event will be by INVITATION ONLY. Invites will be sent out to the people who lead group trips during the Ice Review Weekend and for those who volunteer with the section (trip coordinators etc.). Once the invitations are sent, it will be on a "first pay first in" basis. The cost for the event is $60 /person
This is an excellent opportunity to spend a day being coached by one of Canada's premier climbers!
We will meet at the carpool location, sign the ACC waiver, and proceed into the Ghost wilderness. We will meet Sean at the Campground at the bottom of the "big hill", sign the ACMG waiver, and then we proceed onto the parking area south of GBU.
The days activities will be at GBU. Sean will put up some ropes and work with you to review and enhance your ice climbing techniques.
Sean will bring ropes, screws, draws, and other hardware.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
