Itinerary:
Elevation gain: 860 meters aprox. Distance: 10.5 km Time: 5-8 hours roundtrip (plus driving time to/from trailhead) This is rated as a difficult scramble. The ridge consists of ascending up a chimney, with the crux consisting of narrow ridge. Participants should be comfortable with scrambling along exposed ridges. However, the approach is short so it should not be a long day.

Rain/wind gear and warm layer of clothing, no matter what the weather forecast is,

Event Directions:   We'll leave vehicles at Burstall Pass parking lot on Smith-Dorrien Trail/Spray Lakes Road in Kananaskis Country, 44km south of Canmore and 20km north of Smith-Dorrien/Kananaskis Trail junction.

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
