Itinerary:
Come and join us at the Bow Water Canoe Club for an evening of fun and lies! In June 2010 a team of 4 climbers from Canada and Europe spent three weeks climbing in the Cordillera Real range of Bolivia. The team climbed five big mountains over 5,300m in two areas of the range. This short film chronicles their adventures through video clips and still photos all set to a lively soundtrack. Come see why the Cordillera Real should be included on every alpine climbers bucket list. On the third Tuesday of each month (except July: no meeting and August: Edworthy Park BBQ instead) enjoy meeting friends old and new while finding inspiration in various slide shows by Club members or members of the larger outdoor community. Members of the executive will also announce upcoming section events, section activities and other general ramblings. Bring your wallet for a beverage at the Cash Bar These meetings are open to the public, in fact, we encourage non-members to come and see what we have to offer! Invite a friend.
Recommended Items to Bring:
A friend if you like! Cash for a drink at the bar.

If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
