Friday-Depart the city in the early morning and ski at Rogers. Check in at the hostel that afternoon. Saturday-Ski the pass and return to Golden for the evening. Sunday-Check out in the morning and head back to Rogers. Ski the day and head back to the city that evening.
A six-person dorm style room has been booked at the Dreamcatcher Hostel in Golden for the group. The hostel is set up with a room to check in your gear for overnight drying and is a great homebase for skiing in Rogers Pass. Hostel fees will be around $85/person to cover your two nights accommodation. This will be requested closer to the trip once the group is finalized.
The skiing in the pass will most likely be in complex terrain and preference will be given to participants I've skied with previously or that I can vet through another trip leader. This will not be a guided trip so your input will be required for risk assessment and decision making. The terrain skied will suit the group and we will have a group discussion the day before we ski, so all members are confident with the routes chosen. Through the day we will reevaluate as conditions change.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
