Notes:
Date of the trip will be a high pressure system on or about May 22-24 long weekend. I have flexible 3 day off (with 2 day notice) and hopefully it can be attached to a weekend. The scheduled date is arbitrary. There is no point in heading in the 9 Km above 10,000 ft to the Twin – Stutfield Col. unless there is a high pressure system. This should not be your first trip to the Columbia Icefields. Few first timers reach the Twin-Stutfield Col. Good to have: Experience at “combat” self arrests (actual self arrest other than practice, when you are not expecting it), Icefield experience, winter camping experience,“combat” crevasse rescue If we get enough rope leaders, the size of the trip could be expanded.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
