Itinerary:

Our plan A is to climb an easy multipitch on Rundlehorn, possibly MacLab Slab 5.6 8 pitches, but alternatively Sunriser, Gold Rush or Rundlehorn if our main objective is busy already.

The approach is approx. 10min. The walkoff descent is very steep and loose along a trail and almost requires a pole to maintain balance. The focus of this climb is practising efficient rope management and transitions between pitches since the climbing grade is fairly mellow.

I will be leading some pitches, but not necessarily all of them. Participants must be competent at belaying a leader, comfortable moving over moderate scrambling terrain and climbing up to 5.7 outdoors, and able to be on the move for 8-10 hours (in case we decide to tackle a second climb in the same area). Participants must have basic multipitch experience, either through a guided course or a few
multipitch climbs completed before.

The major risk on this climb is to be behind other parties and exposed to rock falls, hence the early departure.

If we have not climbed together before, please send a short description of your experience level & abilities. Let me know also which part of the city you live in to determine the carpooling venue. I depart from Marda Loop.
