Event Directions:
Robin Owens and I did the first of what we christened as the "Ski Summit Series" on Jan 26 2014... 10 years later and here's the first of this season. Typically the trips have a summit of some kind in mind but mother nature needs to cooperate. If a summit isn't on the cards, then I will try to find a tour. The destination will depend on weather, snow conditions, avalanche conditions, and participants experience. As a representative example, past outings included Burstall Pass Peak, Healy Pass Peak, Little Temple, Bow Peak, Purple Pk and Lipalian Mtn, Mt Haffner, Mt Field, Panorama Ridge, Smutwood.
For this trip, currently thinking of Cathedral peak. Bell couloir or something like that...
