Itinerary:

Let's get out on an easy multi-pitch! I would like to target this event to women in the club who are trying to build their multi-pitch skills. That could mean getting out on your first multi-pitch as a second, or first time leading pitches on a multi.

Rock rescue is a pre-requisite as is comfort lead belaying and rappelling.

Weather permitting, I am hoping to do Pachamama and spike up your life, as I have been to the base but never climbed them. They are sunny, but can seep.

This event is weather dependent. The specific schedule will be based on participant objectives and weather.

When you sign up, if we haven't climbed together please EMAIL me with a summary of your experience and what you would like to get out of this day!

Required Items to Bring:

Helmet, harness, shoes, belay device, prussic/hollow block, several locking biners, cord and slings for rock rescue and anchors. Water, food, layers

Recommended Items to Bring:

Bring layers for all the seasons. It can easily get cold and windy on belays, or the sun comes out and you bake in the rock oven!

How to Get There:
Carpool Departure Time:   08:00 AM
Carpool Location:   Sarcee/16th Rona or whatever is convenient for participants

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Trip Feedback
If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
