                                |  The Rock Rescue 
201 course is for anyone who has taken the RR 101 course or for 
anyone who 
already has already taken a course and is comfortable with the basic techniques. The focus of this day will be on scenarios and practice.   This day will 
involve more complicated scenarios and deal with 
how to extract you and your partner from a 
multipitch scenario.  Lowers, raises and 
counterbalance / tandem rappels.
 To register for this course, first sign up for the waitlist/screening list. Then, contact Julie Morter to confirm you meet the pre-requisites (Competency with basic rock rescue skills) Once Julie has approved you for the course, you will be able to pay directly on the event page. Payment is required to confirm your spot on the course. |

                                    | The course will be taught by Sarah Hueniken, a 
full ACMG Alpine Guide in Canmore. Sarah has spent a lifetime sharing adventures in the outdoors- from working with Outward Bound, NOLS, dog sled guiding and paddling. Sarah has focused on guiding ice, rock and alpine here in the Rockies for the past 20 years. She has been a a part of many first ascents all over the world and is currently an Arcteryx, Scarpa and Sterling athlete. She is the the executive director of Mountain Muskox and the Avalanche Canada ice climbing ambassador.

 Cancellation Policy
 If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement.  If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs).  Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
