Itinerary:
This trip is intended for advanced backcounrty skiers. All participants are required to have experience using a beacon, shovel and probe. If you intend to do any tours that involve glacier travel you need to be experienced in crevasse rescue and the use of an ice axe. Day one we will ski to the Stanley Mitchel hut. I anticipate a long day with 23km in distance and 675 meters elevation gain. According to Chic Scott "the journey can be done in one day by strong skiers, many will find it necessary to overnight at Takakkaw falls." so i think a very early start is in order. We will have days two and three to explore some of the many fine tours in the area. Day four we will return to the road and head home. To hold your spot you need to send money! The total cost of the hut is $75 per person. Make checks payable to Tyler Kirkland and send them to 110-30 Sierra Morena Mews SW Calgary Alberta T3H 3K7

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
