THIS EVENT IS PART OF THE ICE REVIEW WEEKEND.   Participants will remain on the waiting list for this event until they have signed up for the Ice Review weekend.   Also, if you haven't climbed with me before please send an email with a brief summary of your experience and I will get straight back to you.

We will leave from the Mosquito Creek Hostel at 7:30 and carpool to the 2 o'Clock falls trail head.  It's a short hike to the falls.  There are several options at the climb.  One option is to set up top ropes.  If there is someone else who is willing to lead a rope team, We could also enjoy a relatively easy multi pitch climb.

Required Items to Bring:

Usual Ice Climbing gear - Helmet, Harness, belay device with locker, personal anchor, boots with properly fitting crampons, Ice tools, warm clothes, extra gloves, snacks.  If you are not sure, just ask.

Recommended Items to Bring:

Sense of fun and adventure.  Camera or phone.  If you want to lead a pitch or two, bring a few Ice screws and quick draws.

How to Get There:
Carpool Departure Time:   07:30 AM
Carpool Location:   Depart Mosquito Creek Hostel.
Carpool Directions:

I have room for 3 at the most.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
