Itinerary: |
The plan is to scramble Mount Roberta near the Highwood Pass. It's a short and enjoyable Class 2-3 (easy/moderate) scramble with great views. You would be a good participant for this trip if you have reasonable fitness and you're comfortable with moderate scrambles in off-trail terrain. Registration is first-come first-serve. Distance: 6 km return, Elevation Gain: 650 m
Carpool meetup is at 6:00 AM in Valley Ridge - maps.app.goo.gl
We will aim to move at a moderate pace to complete the scramble in 4 hours return, with the goal of being back in the city by about 1:00 PM.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
