Easy Evening Multipitch! Hike in. 4 Pitch Bolted multipitch. Climb. Rappel. Hike out. 


Leave Valley Ridge at 4pm, Meet at the Casino 430 and trailhead at 445. Hike up to the Slabby Mcslabface 5.6 and be home to YYC.

Trip runs if weather is a chance of showers or better but not if its raining

Required Items to Bring:

Helmet, harness, ATC,  Rappel kit (i..e hollowblock, sling to extend + clip, locking carabiners) Rock shoes, Approach Shoes, Small pack, snacks, water, headlamp just in case!

Club will supply the rope and I'll have my QD's

Park as for Baldy Slabs/Mt Baldy scramble. I can elaborate if required to the participants

Carpool Directions:  

Street just east of the Valley ridge outdoor Rink. Head to the mountains.

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
