Itinerary: |
Mt Carnavon is a big, difficult scramble that offers magnificent views of the Emerald Lake / Yoho area. We will probably follow the route described in Kane's Scrambles book. It should take 9-11 hours return from the car.
Explor8ion trip report, Steven Song's trip report
Please only sign up if you have the fitness to comfortably ascend ~1750m at a moderate steady pace, and are OK with difficult, exposed scrambling and possibly some snow. If we don't know each other yet please email me with your recent scrambling experience and we can talk to make sure the trip is a good fit.

Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
