Meet at Carpool at 7:15am at 170 Valley Meadow Close NW near the outdoor ice arena. Park at grotto parking lot and hike in. Probate is a multipitch climb rated at 5.9 , 510a and 5.10b. The decent requires rapelling the route .

Standard climbing gear and personel anchor, ATC for repelling with back up prussik, lunch , water, sunglasses , sunscreen .

Notes: |
P1 (5.9, 32 meters) - Can be climbed in two pitches. P2 (5.10a, 24 meters) - P3 (5.10b, 26 meters) - Descent: Rappel the way you came, make sure you have a 70 meter rope as a 60 meter will not make the final rappel. I have reppelled this route with a 60 meter rope.

Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
