Itinerary:

We will meet at the trailhead, hike up 10-15 minutes and set up some TR's.  There's a few moderate grades but they're a bit polished running around 5.9 and we will set up some TR's on the 10s and one or two 11s!  Don't be worried if you're newer to rock climbing it's going to be top roping :)

Required Items to Bring:

Helmet, harness, rock shoes, belay device, chalk, food and water, stoke!


Recommended Items to Bring:

quickdraws, ropes, anchor kit, (again don't worry if you don't have this)

We will aim to meet the Barrier Creek Crag trailhead around 0900 on Fri May 23, 2023. Head south on Highway 40 towards Barrier Lake, shortly after the pullout there will be a little worn out ditch to park in.  Coordinates

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
