Itinerary: |
Take advantage of the high pressure and ski up to Burstall pass or something similar. Even with the 25cm on Mon-Tuesday looking at this at more of ski tour since there is no other snow forecast currently. May do a couple of yoyos on low angle slopes near the pass if snow is okay and group wishes. Approx 700m + 15km for the trip to the pass. 645am at the carpool, drive out + touring for 5-7 hours and then return to YYC around dinner time.
Before being accepted please email me a brief overview of your backcountry experience, including avalanche training, first aid, your ski ability, if you ski or splitboard and a few recent trips you have been on.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
