Itinerary:

Meet at Lake Louise Village for 8:00am to do waivers, gear check and arrange shuttles.  Plan is to start skiing around 9:00 and wrap up back at the car around 4:00pm.  Trip is approximately 16km round trip with 650m of elevation.  We will be travelling at a moderate pace for the day.

Avalanche gear - Shovel, Probe and Transceiver (3 antenna)

Ski Touring gear

Warm layers

Sunscreen

Headlamp

How to Get There:
Event Directions:  

Carpool can be arranged in Calgary but we will meet at 8:00am in Lake Louise.  We will arrange our shuttle at that time as we will leave vehicles on either end of the trip.

Notes:

Participants should have at least AST 1.

Waitlist participants will be screened.  Please fill out the following form and email it to Jason/Ken. This helps us put together a group of like-minded skiers who are suited in ability, risk tolerance and motivation. 1drv.ms

We will have a pre-trip meeting on Friday night to review trip, gear and avalanche conditions.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
