Itinerary: |
Barb's presentation will begin at 7:30 pm. Her presentation will be a humorous account of her accomplished life as a rock climber, mountaineer and ice climber. She will recall many events in her life such as first female ascents of many ice climbs, being a member of the first female Canadian ascent team on Denali and competing in the X games and World Cups. Following her presentation there will be a question and answer period. Dinner and drinks are available for purchase. Tuesday's special is a steak sandwich. If you are planning on having dinner please arrive earlier. Also, we ask that you arrive before 7:15 to ensure your seat.

This presentation will be held in the downstairs meeting room at the Joyce-24th Avenue and 4th Street SW. Parking is located on two levels behind the Joyce on the West side of the building and across 24th Avenue behind Earls. On Street parking is also available and free after 6 p,m.

Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
