This is a moderate paced trip, ending early enough to get back to YYC for dinner on Sunday.
AST2 recommended, but equivalent experience permitted. This is a BITS friendly trip, but advanced riding skills are still
required. Most of the area has at least some tree skiing, sometimes
tight, luge track riding, and terrain assessment. Tree riding skills
are a must. If you are comfortable on black diamond runs in all
conditions and hitting the glades are the resort you should be okay. If
you aren't sure, fire me an email and we can discuss.
How to Get There:
Event Directions:
May be at a different location and we will need to take non-ski stuff down to the cars prior to skiing or have it packed and ready to leave when we go out to ski
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
Trip Feedback If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
