Itinerary:

Preparing for the summer season or just keeping ourselves in shape, let's walk/jog/run at the 12-Miles Coulee.
Depending on the conditions we would practice either down in the coulee or up along the bike pathways.
1 loop = 2.6 km/ 64m elevation gain (as per Alltrails).
At this event the target is to meet, understand each other's goals, decide whether we walk or jog or run or do a cardio or a HIIT and go for it together!

Required Items to Bring:

V Microspikes - required;
V Headlamp - required;
V Dress for the weather (Layers);
V Mitts/Toque as/if required;
V Sun Protection/Wind protection/Rain protection as/if required;
V Liquids as you require;
V Snack for after the practice.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:  

If you enter from Tuscany Hills Bay turn left and walk along the pathway for an few dozen meters to find the bench (by the "Sunning buffalo" statue). Inside the 12-miles coulee, top level (by the bike lane).

Weather dependent, may be cancelled if the weather makes the trails hazardous.


Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
