Itinerary:

Looking to get out for a day of touring at a moderate pace.  Objective will be chosen closer to the date but aiming for about 600 - 800m in elevation and around 10km return.  Plan is to be back at the car by 3pm.

Final arrangements will be made with the group on Friday.

Before being accepted on to the trip please email me a brief overview of your backcountry experience, including avalanche training, first aid, your ski ability, if you ski or splitboard and a few recent trips you have been on.

Required Items to Bring:

Transceiver (3 Antenna), snow shovel, probe, backcountry ski gear, googles/sunglasses, headlamp, helmet. food, water, layers and AST1 at minimum.

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
