Itinerary: |
Moderate pace to go ski the Dolomite circuit. Approx. 16km and 800m vert. Plan to be out for 7-8 hours of touring and for conditions to be thin.
Trip will only run as long as weather/Avi conditions are reasonable so we can enjoy some views. If conditions are not appropriate we may consider an alternative objective.
Exact timing and parking locations etc. to be discussed with the group.
Before being accepted on to the trip please email me a brief overview of your backcountry experience, including avalanche training, first aid, your ski ability, if you ski or splitboard and a few recent trips you have been on to demonstrate your fitness level is appropriate for this objective.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
