Itinerary:

The goal of this trip is to go explore the Skoki backcountry in a 2-night trip. The objective will be to climb nearby summits, while being based at Baker Laker. Objectives include Skoki Mtn, Fossil Mtn, Heather Ridge, Packers Pass Peak, Brachiopod, Anthozoan. We will try to ski as high as we can, but expect some boot packing.

Costs include sharing camping sites ($31.50 per pad per night)

December 27: meet up, gear check, drive to Fish Creek Trailhead. Ski in to Baker Lake backcountry campsite (Sk11), set up camp. This is a ~12 km approach. Depending on timing, we will attempt an easy close-by summit (e.g. Fossil, Heather Ridge).

December 28: head for a further objective, most likely Skoki Mountain.

December 29: pack and cache gear, do a summit near Baker Lake (e.g. Brachiopod / Anthozoan). Ski out and drive home.
