An easy day to stretch the legs. I don't know how deep the snowpack is going to be - so bring rock skis.  This is a fairly short tour, with some yo yo laps.

See backcountry-beta.com for a description of the area.

AST 1 required. If you are new to BITS last year, this would be a good easy tour.

Required Items to Bring:

The usual ski stuff: Shovel, probe, beacon, warm clothes, food.

I have a PLB, tarp and first aid kit.

Recommended Items to Bring:

First aid, PLB or inreach

Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
