Itinerary: |
Trip plan: Carpool/Travel from YYC at 6 am to meet at Whiskey Jack Hostel. Follow David Jones Rockies West PD 5.3 NW Slopes route. Reverse route. Expected 7-9 hours. Return home to YYC
Fitness/Skill Requirements: Must be fit and able to ascend ~1200m at a moderate steady pace. Capable to offer belay and comfortable with scrambling 3rd and 4th terrain. Crux goes at 5.3-5.4 and we will plan to climb it roped and rappel after. Trip only runs with appropriate conditions. If inclement, can discuss alternatives with group participants if interested. If we don't know each other yet send me an email with your experience and we can talk to make sure the trip is a good fit.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
