Take advantage of the incoming high pressure for a scramble up Mount Ogden in Yoho BC at a moderate pace. Will follow Kane's description from "Scrambles in the Canadian Rockies". ~1100m elevation gain rated "difficult" with "serious exposure" for about 10-15 m near the summit. Will have a 30m rope to help mitigate exposed section. ~8-9 hour day. Thinking of leaving Calgary around 630-7am. Will discuss with and firm up with other participants. Carpool optional - can see if any other participants are interested. If we don't know each other yet send me a quick email with your experience and we can make sure the trip is a good fit.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
