Itinerary:

We will be getting the bbq/fire pit heated up shortly before 6.  Once it is ready to go burgers and/or smokies will be grilled.  Eating and socializing to begin with the first cooked burger. Any additional food that you would like you will need to bring.  We will not be holding a pot luck this year. 

Required Items to Bring:

Your own plate, cutlery, napkin and beverage.  This is a park site where alcohol may be consumed.  We encourage responsible consumption. 


Recommended Items to Bring:

Sunscreen, mosquito repellant and additional food items that you would like.

Event Directions:  

When entering Edworthy Park from the north side, cross the pedestrian bridge  and immediately turn to your right.  Follow path a short distance and you should see the picnic site.  

 

Notes:

Another reminder that this is not a pot luck this year.  The only food being provided will be burgers, smokies, buns and condiments.  When signing up for this event please indicate your choice of beef burger, veggie burger, or smokie. This may be done in the notes field.

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
