Itinerary: |
We will leave from camp in the morning and head to the crag with a few ropes and find a spot the group is happy with. We will set up climbs in the 5.5 - 5.8 range, although if anyone in the group is comfortable leading harder routes, we can set up some more challenging ones as well. We'll spend the day top roping and be back at camp in plenty of time for dinner. Participants do not need significant outdoor experience, but should be able to provide a top rope belay.
|
Required Items to Bring: |
Helmet, harness, belay device (assisted braking preferred), gloves for belaying/handling rope.
|
|
Recommended Items to Bring: |
Small camp chair, sunscreen, camera, food, water, approach/belay shoes, anything else you want to be comfortable at the crag. Feel free to bring draws and anchor package if you want to lead.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
