Itinerary:
CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS. This is a "Leader's Choice" outing. The location will be chosen during the week prior depending on where the best conditions can be found. Possible locations are Healy Pass, Burstall Pass, Chester Lake, etc. The terrain and skiing will be at the "lower intermediate" skill level.
Required Items to Bring:
Avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel, warm clothing

Recommended Items to Bring:
personal first aid, emergency shelter, warm drinks, food, good humour

Notes:
I am no longer able to lead this trip because of out of town travel. Nathalie Roulin has generously offered to lead this trip for me (Thank you a thousand times Nathalie! :) Destination will be determined based on avalanche conditions, snow conditions, weather, and participants' skills level. This trip will be lower intermediate, tailored for early season skiiing. Possible destinations are Healy Pass, Burstall Pass, Chester Lake, or other destinations within close distance to Calgary. Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
