Itinerary: |
City Hikes: NH Series, all members and their guests are welcome (subject to the current restrictions in place at the date of the event and weather).
This is my first hike posted, so the plan is simple: meet, greet, sign waivers, walk, enjoy the conversations and share wisdom and plans.
Meeting at the Many Owls parking lot, we will then sign waivers and walk the Nose Hill Central Loop.
!!! COVID 19;
Please note there are new protocols and guidelines that we must all adhere to whilst taking part in club events and courses.
Please ensure you have read and understood the following documents:
Calgary Section Protocols
Waiver + Declaration of Health and Exposure
These documents can be found on the ACC website under Covid-19 heading.
These guidelines need to be followed through the duration of the event/course. If any of these guidelines are not followed then you won’t be able to participate.
Participants Need to be 2 metres spacing at all times;
Anytime that this can’t happen, a mask must be worn.
|
Required Items to Bring: |
Hiking boots (a bag for muddy boots if the
weather keeps the trails wet);
Water (1-2L);
Snacks;
Wisdom and summer plans to share;
Willingness to help new Trip Coordinators;
A waiver printed 3 days before the event;
Pen to sign a waiver;
Your mask to wear during the meeting, greeting,

between participants cannot be maintained;
Your own Hand sanitizer.
|
|

|
The hike may be cancelled due to newer
restrictions (if any) and/or inclement weather.
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
