One of the classic tours in the Rockies! Approximately 800m and 16km day. The weather forecast for Saturday is looking really great. We will plan for an early start to try and avoid any solar effects later in the day. We will need two cars as the start and finish are in different spots. There is also the potential to ski Crystal ridge to ski the north bowl and finish on the Dolomite Circuit if the group is keen on a bigger day.

If interested in joining the trip and we have not skied together before, send me an email with your backcountry experience

Required Items to Bring:

Ski touring kit, base layers, warmth layers, hardshell pants/coat, softshell pants/coat, sunglasses, avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel. Hand sanitizer, gloves, mask.

If you have any questions or not sure what you need just ask..

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
