A great three day traverse, with big lines, winter camping and likely smiles all around if the weather and avi cooperates!
Plan is meet at the Discovery Centre on Sunday morning, shuttle a car to Bostock parking lot, and then skin up to Balu Pass, drop into the valley and set up camp. Some of us will likely stay in Golden Saturday night to shorten the drive. Monday we will ski over to Catamount Pass and drop down the other side and set up camp with a goal of some turns time permitting. Tuesday we will skin up to McGill Pass and ski out.
If interested in joining the trip and we have not skied together before, send me an email with your backcountry and winter camping experience. Participants will need to be in shape for travelling with pack, plus willing to contribute to group decisions and navigation.
