● 4 non locking carabiners
● 2 HMS Locking carabiner
● 2 small locking carabiners
● 1 Double length sewn runner
● 1 Long prussic (7mm diameter, 5 m in length)
● 1 short prussic (7mm x 1.5m) or Sterling
Hollow Block*
● 20-40 litre backpack
● Athletic pants
● Insulating jacket

● Room for some group equipment

We will meet on the evening of March 14th unless
you are driving from Calgary the morning of March

Notes: |
This course is intended for Volunteer Trip Leaders that are interested in learning how to lead a Via Ferrata safely in the David Thompson Corridor. This will be a great opportunity to learn rock rescue skills focusing on Via Ferrata terrain.

Waiver:
Everyone attending this event will be required to sign the
ACC Waiver
at the beginning of the event. Read the waiver carefully to ensure you fully
understand it. If possible, please print and fill it out except for
the signature fields before arriving at the event.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Registration will open March 1st till April 1st.
If I don't fill up the course by April 1st it will
be cancelled.
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
