Itinerary:

This is the now-annual Pre-Ice-Review Ice leader training day with Scott McKay. (Ice review is still on hold pending Covid protocols). Last year's participants raved about Scott's teaching. One aspect to work on with Scott will be site/group management techniques aimed at increasing our risk management abilities for running TR crags or multipitches with novice climbers, particularly at sites that pose significant hazards. Additional or specific content can be negotiated based on participant demand.

*PLEASE NOTE: this field day is paired with the classroom prep session on the evening of FEBRUARY 4. Please register for both events. A single fee covers both.

Minimum of 6 participants will be needed to run the training  at the current cost. (At 5, I will offer the course at the increased cost of $144pp)

Cost is $120/participant, you will be moved off the waitlist once payment is received. Please email confirmation of payment to climb@acccalgary.ca
