This trip was rescheduled from March 2020 to March 2021 and again to April 2021 due to Covid-19 restrictions!
A classic traverse with superb skiing on route. This time of year can bring long sunny days of t-shirt skiing or swing to a mind numbing whiteout. Come with a sense of adventure and prepared to take a rope for a walk for hours on end. Fingers crossed Ullr will be on our side yet be prepared for some walking (in boots) during the long ski out to either Field or Emerald Lake.
All huts are exclusive to our group with a reduced maximum capacity of 10. So that means plenty of elbow room for comfort and safety. If you have been to Bow Hut and experienced full capacity you know how comfortable a group of 10 will be to all.
Where are we staying? From the modern to the historic and in between. 5 Nights: 1 night Bow Hut, 2 nights Guy Hut and 2 nights Stanley Mitchell.
This is not a fast paced trip, rather moderate, enjoy ourselves and if you prefer racing to the mountain top for a personal best, perhaps this is not the trip for you? Steady and safe. Please come with a big sense of adventure and laughter.
We will travel as two groups of five. If you a trip leader or emerging trip leader and wish to help organize or be a rope lead, stick up your hand, let me know. A group of 10 will require multiple leaders.
So how to do I join the trip?
