Itinerary:
This is the original, multi-year running volunteer-led Ski Summit Series. The ski summit season is back! We would like to target a summit but of course, conditions may prohibit that, in which case we will try to find a tour. The destination will depend on weather and avalanche conditions. As a representative example, past outing included Little Temple, Bow Peak, Purple Pk and Lipalian Mtn, and Mt Haffner, Mt Field, Panorama Ridge, Smutwood. Destination will be announced closer to event date, dependent on weather and avalanche conditions, and group experience.
Required Items to Bring:
Transceiver (digital 2+ antennae), snow shovel, probe, warm clothing, backcountry ski gear, sunglasses/ski goggles and headlamp, ice axe, boot crampons, ski crampons have proved important in the past! Food/drink for the day. Sun screen.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Food/drink, extra clothing and any required personal items. If we are going to a summit, an ice axe, helmet, and boot crampons might be needed. Ski crampons may be an asset.

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Trip Feedback
If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
