Itinerary: |
The plan is to spend the day climbing somewhere at Wasootch. We'll meet at the crag at 9am (20 minute drive from Rafter 6). You can always come and find us at the crag if you're a bit later too.
The only pre-requisite is that you can top rope belay. If you want to practice leading, setting up and cleaning anchors, bringing up a second, etc. we can do all of that! Karen and I will set up some easier routes (5.6 range give or take). If you are a more experienced climber and want to set up some more challenging routes for people to try that is also welcome. Bring everything you want to be comfortable, it's a short walk!
If we haven't climbed together before, please email the trip coordinators with an outline of your experience just so we have an idea of who is coming. Please indicate if you have experience with outdoor top-rope or lead climbing and belaying.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Trip Feedback
