Itinerary:
I have no idea if this will work, but I am willing to give it a shot.
Let's try out a women's mentorship group virtual book club. We will meet over skype to choose a book and then meet again to discuss.
I am setting the maximum group size at 10 to start with, because I am not sure how hard it will be to manage this over skype. If there is way more interest than that, we may try a bigger group, or two different groups. Once you are registered, you will need to send me your name/contact info on skype so that I can setup the meeting with everyone. I will send out an agenda and some meeting norms to help us manage the group a couple days before we meet
To help kick-start this, I have a short list of novels about women explorers, adventurers or athletes that we will choose from in our first meeting
1. End of the Rope by Jan Redford. Climbing
2. Welcome to the Goddam Ice cube by Blair Braverman. Dogsledding and arctic adventures
3. Lands of Lost Borders by Kate Harris. Cycling the silk road
4. Ranger Confidential by Andrea Lankford. Park Ranger in Yosemit, Grand Canyon etc.
5. Space Below my Feet by Gwen Moffat. First female mountain guide
6. Into the Planet by Jill Heinerth. Cave diving and exploration

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Trip Feedback
If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
