Itinerary:
Join us for some ice climbing adventures the upcoming weekend in the Dry Range near Yaha Tinda Ranch. We will leave on Friday evening drive towards our destination and stay all together in an outfitter cabin (a bit drafty, but should be still nice and warm), climb on Saturday, climb all Sunday and drive home after. Preferably at least one of the participants should be a comfortable leader on ice in the WI3 or better WI4 range as we will likely climb in two parties of two. The other participant should at least be able to safely belay a leader. Therefore please send us a few lines about your ice climbing and belaying experience. At least one day will likely involve a knee to thigh deep river (bring waders or sandals and suck it up) -this is not a Joke! Participants are also expected to participate on cooking and other things to do in the hut while staying there like stocking the oven during the night, getting fire wood etc. More details about carpooling, group dinner etc. will be sent out once participants are selected.
Required Items to Bring:
A detailed list will be sent out directly to the participants.

How to Get There:
Carpool Departure Time:   06:00 PM
Carpool Location:
Carpool Directions:   A carpool location will be shared once participants are selected (likely in the NW).

Cancellation/Partial Attendance:
Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!

Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Trip Feedback
If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
