This weekend event will include 1 day of working with a guide and 1 day for climbing/practice with other leaders. One aspect to work on with the guide will be site/group management techniques aimed at increasing our risk management abilities for running TR crags with novice climbers, particularly at sites that pose significant hazards. Additional or specific content can be negotiated based on participant demand.
This event will include a free evening meal Saturday night & free overnight hostel stay (location TBD) to facilitate climbing of your choice on Sunday. Sunday climbing is optional, but if you participate in the guide session, please plan to attend the meal as it will be a time for debrief/discussion. Open to all who lead at least 1 ice event in the 2019-2020 season, preference for leaders participating in ice review.
Minimum of 6 participants will be needed to run the day with the guide. If there is greater interest I can consider adding a second guide.
Cost is $90/participant, you will be moved off the waitlist once payment is received. Please email confirmation of payment to
