Itinerary: |
This trip is part of the Ice Review 2020 and preference will be given to participants attending the Ice Review and staying at the Nordegg hostel. There is quite a bit terrain above the climb, so if the avalanche situation is not in our favor, we will have to come up with a “Plan B”. The approach is about 60 min and might involve some bushwhacking if we don’t find the right trail. This is not a beginner trip and participants should have already some pitches of ice climbing under their belt, being comfortable to second a WI4 and be able to provide a save belay. Please send me an email indicating your ice climbing experience (please don’t just fill it on during the sign up process). Further details will be discussed once all participants are chosen.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
