Itinerary:

Happy Fall! This is the semi-annual meeting of the Women's Mentorship Group of the Calgary ACC section. This group exists to address the underrepresentation of women in outdoor pursuits and the personal, social, cultural and other barriers that cause this reality. This is not a gender exclusive group, but we do create events that ensure women can access mentorship, partnership & learning in an environment where they are not the minority.  We aim to run at least 1 event per month. Historically these have focussed on ice & rock climbing (like the annual Beauty Creek Ice Extravaganza), but we would love to see more skiing, alpine, hiking & scrambling events!

Our socials are a chance to check-in, meet new folks, meet partners,  share recent experiences & PLAN UPCOMING TRIPS :)! Guests & beginners are very welcome!

Recommended Items to Bring:
Questions, goals, ambition

How to Get There:
Event Directions:   Take 34 Ave exit off Hwy 1, or Sarcee Tr to the N end. Turn L & R OR R & L to get to 36 Ave NW just north of the exit. We are in the east\middle end of the block, brick bungalow with planter boxes out front. Enter through the fence\east side door.

Come when you can!
Cancellation Policy
If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Trip Feedback
If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
