Itinerary: |
So, it's early(ish) season. Let's see if there
is any ice out there. This will be a relaxed
weekend and a chance for us to get together to
hopefully try out some ice and chat about plans
for the rest of the season.
The climbing will depend on what's happening
that weekend conditions and avalanche wise, so
details will be released closer to the time,
but it will be fun.
Saturday night will be a pot luck, but bring
food for all the other meals.
A few beginners are welcome - as long as you
can belay, operate in winter and bring all your
own personal kit (if you're struggling for kit,
speak to us....)
** Attendees will be pre-screened. We will get
back to you and let you know if you are on the
trip. If you haven't climbed with us before
then please email with your experience -
clareormerod@hotmail.co.uk. **
*** We have had to pay upfront for the beds as
we booked 10+ beds. So, once confirmed on the
weekend then payment will need to be paid to us
before you are moved onto the attending list.
The cost is $64.50 for 1 bed x 2 nights. ***

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
If you have to cancel after Oct 30 and a
replacement can't be found then you will lose
your payment as Hi Hostels will only accept
cancellations on our booking up until Oct 30.
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
