Itinerary: |
Bouldering at some local blocks – Big Choss, White Budda, Jura crek, etc.
There is no bad weather alternative, so we’ll just make a go/no-go call and decide on the area by 4pm at the latest.
I have two pads that I will bring, but more is better. Let me know if you have some more you would bring.
Newbies to outdoor bouldering welcome. When you sign up let me roughly know what your level is (V0-3 = Beginner, V4-5 = intermediate, V6+= Advanced), since some bouldering areas don’t have too many easy options.
This is the plan:
By 4 pm: Go/no-go based on weather. Decision on bouldering area.
5 pm: Meet at carpool
5.10 pm - sharp: drive to trailhead
6 pm: start hiking from trailhead
Then bouldering till dusk and drive back to Calgary.

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
