Itinerary: |
This will be the final session for this years
Rock-It program and we will celebrate with some
more climbing practice, tips & tricks and if
participants are interested with a little bit
of BBQing. After this session you should be
ready to go out for your own top-roping
adventures or to participate on all the other
top-rope based climbing programs and trips
the ACC offers throughout the summer like the
weekly Rock Rave on Wednesday etc.
As for the previous sessions, we will hit one
of the local crags and depending on the
progress of the group can do more practicing
the things we already learned or give you a
short run down on leading sport routes or sport
multi-pitching so you get a bit of a basic
understanding of what these are all about.
However, these will be just some basics and to
pursue these you will need to extend your
current skill set.
Please let us know via an email if you are
interested on having a BBQ and also please
indicate if you are planning on bringing your
own rope and anchor package.

Required Items to Bring: |
You should know that by now :-) PLUS: the practice
ropes we gave you at the first session.
|
|
Recommended Items to Bring: |
Item for the BBQ and maybe a starter or salad to
share (we will send out an email organizing food
early next week).

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Trip Feedback
If you have any feedback, positive or negative, concerning this trip or any other, we want to hear from you! You can send any feedback you may have to the Section Chair.
