Itinerary: |
This session is replacing the anchor session
which was planned for May 16, but was rescheduled
on May 2.
This event is another outdoor practice session
specifically for ROCK IT participants.
We will drive out to K-Country and do some more
practice on belaying, setting up and taking down
anchors as well as practice some more climbing
technique.
As always, don't assume the event will be
cancelled just because the forecast looks bad. If
for some reason the event needs to be cancelled,
we will send out a notification by 3PM the
afternoon of the event.
|
Required Items to Bring: |
You need at least all the personal gear as
indicated on the list we sent out after the very
first session in the library plus whatever you
have from the rest of the list like anchor
package, rope etc.
Helmets are mandatory.
|
|
Recommended Items to Bring: |
rain jacket, a warm layer (it might be still quite
cool out there), snacks, a sip to drink, bug spray

Cancellation/Partial Attendance: Please review our participant responsibility guidelines!
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Calgary Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.

Trip Feedback
