The Rundlehorn is a fun multi-pitch in a great
position and relatively easy grade. Our goal
for this climb will be to dial in our multi-
pitch efficiency, and of course have fun :).
We will meet at the camping site
around 7 am (more specific details TBD).
The
approach starts at the Banff golf course and is
just a few
minutes. The descent is to rappel the route.
If we are fast, we can play around with rock
rescue scenarios at Rundle Rock afterwards, or
head back to camp to get started on drinking,
decision to be made on the fly!
I am happy to lead all the pitches, but am
also happy to share! The climbing is relatively
easy, but the bolts can at times feel a bit
spacy if you are leading near your standard.
If I haven't climbed with you before,
send me a quick note about your experience.
You don't need much to get on this trip, but
you should be able to offer a safe belay for a
leader and have rappelled before.
Required Items to Bring:
Helmet, harness, climbing shoes, PAS. Your regular
multipitch get-up.
Cancellation Policy If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator.
